David L. Martin   |   President, Chief Executive Officer and Director

Dave Martin has been a driver in building shareholder value over the last ten years in three companies. He was appointed the company’s CEO in February 2007 and has served on the board since August 15, 2006. Prior to that, Dave was COO for FoxHollow Technologies, (IPO 2004) where he directed their commercial plan. Prior to FoxHollow, Dave was VP of Global Sales for Rita Medical Systems, (IPO 2000) and before that was Director of U.S. Sales for CardioThoracic Systems, (IPO 1996). Dave has also held sales and sales management positions for Procter & Gamble, Boston Scientific and Guidant Corporation, and currently serves on two boards.

 
James E. Flaherty   |   Chief Administrative Officer

Jim Flaherty has been Chief Administrative Officer of CSI since January 2008. Jim served as CSI’s Chief Financial Officer from 2003 to 2007. Prior to joining the company he served as the CFO for four publicly traded companies. He received his bachelor’s degree in public accounting from Loyola University in Chicago and began his professional career as an auditor for Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). Jim has extensive experience in securing corporate financing, executing initial public offerings and managing acquisitions.

 
Laurence L. Betterley   |   Chief Financial Officer

Larry Betterley joined CSI as Chief Financial Officer in April, 2008. Previous to that, Larry was Chief Financial Officer at Cima NanoTech, Inc., Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of PLATO Learning, Inc., Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Diametrics Medical, Inc., and Chief Financial Officer of Cray Research Inc.. Mr. Betterley has more than 25 years of finance and accounting experience.

 
Robert J. Thatcher   |   Executive Vice President

Bob Thatcher joined CSI as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing in October 2005. He became Vice President of Operations in September 2006 with responsibility for R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality. In August of 2007, Bob accepted the position of Executive Vice President and the added responsibility of the Clinical and Regulatory functions within the company.

Bob has more than 27 years of medical device experience in both large and start-up companies. Results achieved in his previous roles of sales management, marketing management and general management at Medtronic, Schneider USA, Boston Scientific Corporation, and several startup companies, have added significant shareholder value.

Bob earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida and his Master of Business Administration from Rollins College.

 
Paul Tyska   |   Vice President of Business Development

Paul Tyska joined CSI as Vice President of Business Development in August 2006. Prior to CSI, he was employed as the National Sales Director for FoxHollow Technologies. Paul has more than 18 years of documented success in sales and sales management and extensive experience in the peripheral vascular market. He has held various positions with Guidant Corporation, CardioThoracic Systems, W.L. Gore and ATI Medical.

 
Brian Doughty   |   Vice President of Commercial Operations

Brian Doughty joined CSI in November 2006 as Director of Marketing and was named Vice President of Marketing in August 2007 and was then promoted to Vice President of Commercial Operations in April 2008. Prior to joining CSI, Brian was Director of Marketing at EKOS, worked with Practice Development at FoxHollow Technologies and has held various sales and sales management positions at Medtronic and Johnson & Johnson. Brian holds a Masters of Business Administration from Michigan State University and a Masters of Public Administration from Oakland University.

 
Paul Koehn   |   Vice President of Manufacturing

Paul joined CSI in March 2007 as Director of Manufacturing and was named Vice President in October 2007. Paul oversees the Manufacturing and Assembly operations, as well as Quality Systems and Compliance, Materials Management, and Shipping/Receiving. Paul has spent 20+ years in the automotive industry with Kiowa Corporation, Dana Corporation, and Sewall Gear Manufacturing, holding positions in Quality Systems management, Supplier Development, and Manufacturing management, most recently as Vice President of Operations. Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Olaf College and an MBA from Drake University.

 
Scott Kraus   |   Vice President of Sales

Scott Kraus has been with CSI since September 2006, acting most recently as a senior sales director. Previously, he held sales management positions with Boston Scientific Corporation, Guidant and C.R. Bard. Earlier, he gained sales experience at C.R. Bard, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Surgical Specialties Corporation. Scott received a Masters of Business Administration from Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia and a bachelor’s degree in business from Villanova University.
