Limb Salvage with the Diamondback 360° PAD System
A Retrospective, Single-Center Study1
- Retrospective study of 32 diabetic patients with Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI)
- All patients were previously scheduled for amputation
- Diamondback 360° used to establish straight-line flow to the foot
- Low-pressure balloon angioplasty used adjunctively, if necessary
- 6-week follow-up using angiography
Conclusions
- Blood flow restored in all 32 patients
- 100% patency maintained at 6 weeks post-procedure in those scheduled for a second procedure
- 100% of limbs saved; no amputations required
Case Example:
- 82 year-old male
- Right foot pain
- Angiography revealed no-vessel run-off
