- Mechanical Design Engineer (Sustaining)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining engineering improvements and technical support of current production level mechanical designs on high performance equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting production issues, redesigning, and validating parts and assemblies while interfacing with manufacturing, QC and design/drafting personnel to resolve design issues.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Engineering degree from a 4-year college and minimum 6 years experience with design and development of electro-mechanical components in a regulated environment (medical, defense, aeronautics).
SKILL REQUIRED: Ability to apply knowledge of mechanical design methods to generate reliable and functional solutions to issues with in production product. Must have strong attention to detail, enjoy "hands-on" troubleshooting, and have the ability to read and produce mechanical drawings. Good problems solving, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary, as well as knowledge of materials and production methods. The ability to understand and apply personal knowledge to new and unique situations, and to work independently. Computer proficiency is MS suites & Solidworks (minimum 1 yr).
SKILLS BENEFICIAL: Ability to understand and troubleshoot electrical systems; specifically brushless motor control and fluid delivery.
- Training Manager (Sales and Customer Education)
POSITION OVERVIEW: Impactful training programs are a key component in achieving corporate revenue growth and profitability. In the fast-paced, competitive medical device industry, it is critical that CSI Sales Professionals rapidly reach and maintain productivity. In addition, it is critical for CSI customers to receive thorough, accurate device training in order for them to safely and effectively treat their patients. This position will lead the development and execution of comprehensive sales and customer training programs for CSI. This position will report to the Group Marketing Manager - Clinical Marketing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Professional Training. Develop and execute comprehensive sales training programs, including pre-study, initial sales training, ongoing reinforcement, product launch training and product updates. (30%)
Customer Training (Physician, Allied Health Professionals, Hospital Administrators). Develop and execute customer training programs in collaboration with Marketing Management. Programs include initial device training, ongoing reinforcement, new product training, and product updates. (30%)
Field Trouble-Shooting. Collaborate with field staff regarding trouble-shooting and technical aspects of products and clinical application of products. Work with Sales, Marketing and Clinical department to identify and find solutions to customer clinical and product issues, and to develop training tools and other support materials. (15%)
Internal CSI Training (Clinical and Product). Develop and execute clinical and product training programs as needed to meet needs of CSI corporate employees. (10%)
Education Program Management. Ensure success if CSI educational programs by working with physicians to develop and implement appropriate content. (15%)
SKILL SET:
Proven experience developing comprehensive adult learning and education programs
Proven experience educating field staff and physicians, preferable in peripheral or cardiovascular interventions
Proven ability to communicate and interface with Sales Management and Sales Professionals
Proven ability to communicate and interface with physicians
Demonstrated project management skills including managing multiple projects and priorities
Ability to translate technical device information, related procedural concepts and clinical data into understandable education for key audiences
Above average computer skills for presentation development and word processing activities
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree and/or advanced degree in clinical, business and/or related discipline
Minimum of three years work experience in a clinical setting OR as a Sales Professional in the medical pharmaceutical industry
