Title: Production Supervisor
Reports to: Production Manager
Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor will assist with coordination of the daily production workflow, while ensuring all
documentation is complete and accurate, including all training files. The positionrequires a highly motivated,
positive individual that can work both independently and in a “team”environment. The Production Supervisor
will provide support to all production employees, and communicate all trends and problems to the Production Manager.
This individual must be dedicated to the success of Cardiovascular Systems Inc and its quest to continually improve
its operations, as well as perform duties to manufacture Cardiovascular Systems Inc products, meeting FDA,
OSHA, GMP/MDD and ISO 9000 compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:

5 years of supervisor or lead experience

High School diploma required
-
Microsoft Office experience
-
Strong leadership skills
-
ERP experience preferred
-
Lean Manufacturing and Kanban Manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to prioritize and control work flow
-
Knowledge of Quality Systems and supporting documentation
-
Assist in the development of new processes and procedures
-
Ability to train to procedures and ensure continuous improvement

Maintain training documentation for new and existing employees

Maintain and update Job Descriptions
-
Develop and maintain pay scale standards
-
Develop and maintain product related training matrixes and qualification programs
-
Ability to meet internal and external customer needs
-
Ability to communicate production concerns/issues with Engineers and Management

Create and conduct employee performance reviews
-
Ability to coach and mentor personnel
-
Ability to handle conflict situations
-
Develop and trend key manufacturing metrics
-
Monitor and verify quality of product
-
Ability to interface with various departments including , Engineering, Materials, Research and
Development, Quality, Documentation, Accounting, and Marketing -
Understand the use and disposal of chemicals and hazardous items

Knowledge of current safety guidelines

Maintain and ensure proper documentation of quality records
